Acting

 

Tara studied acting in the Two Year Conservatorium at Lee Strasberg in New Yok, as well as film acting at Stella Adler. While studying she appeared on Fox News as Marilyn Monroe, performed in lots of theatre and also began performing stand up comedy. 

 

She then moved to Sydney in 2011 where she gained a small role in ABC's Crownies, a leading role in the feature film 'Another Bloody Wedding' and played Celeste in 'Where's my money?' by John Patrick Shanley at the 505 Theatre. 

 

In 2013 Tara moved to London, auditioned for the prestigious comedy sketch show 'NewsRevue' and became the first Australian to perform in the show. She went on to direct a London run of the show, and was chosen to direct the Edinburgh Festival run in 2015 which received five star reviews. 

 

In December 2015 Tara played Renegade, one of Nicole Kidman's punk crew in 'How To Talk To Girls At Parties', the most recent feature directed by John Cameron Mitchell.
